Club Captain – Joe Keighley
Previous 2nd XI vice-captain and social secretary. A true rags to riches story, Joe started his GKT career as a 3rd XI rookie before rising the ranks and finishing the 2010/11 season as the top scorer in the 1st XI.
First Team Captain - Dan Cromb
Last year’s 1st XI vice-captain. England international and part-time Guy’s Bar DJ. Once out-DJed a Scratch Pervert.
First Team Vice-Captain – Sachin Sharma
An Evertonian with various shades of fluorescent blue hair. Loves his bright pink Everton shirt.
Second Team Captain – Alex Chowdhury
The latest person to take on the task of leading the mighty 2s. Alex’s previous experiences as RAG president mean he’s an expert at giving drunken motivational speeches, which will serve him well this season.
Second Team Vice-Captain - Richard White
Despite being in his final year, ‘Fresher’ Rich will always be a fresher in the eyes of GKT Hockey members.
Third Team Captain - Dheeraj Khiatani
DK suffers from a severe case of angry short man syndrome. Originally from Singapore, he often struggles with the English language.
Third Team Vice-Captain – Hannes Hagson
As last year’s MedSoc vice-president, Hannes has previous experience of being a deputy. Joined GKT Hockey by accident after being coerced into turning up to Freshers’ Trials. Decided he loved it. Has a habit of losing important possessions when drunk.
Mixed Captain - Ashwin Kalra
Ashwin came over from Canada and fully embraced GKT life. However recent visa problems have forced him to employ ingenious disguises in an attempt to evade the immigration police.
Treasurer – Greg Nussbaum
Previous 2nd XI vice-captain. Greg is also this year’s MedSoc treasurer, so he’s clearly good with money. However his Apple obsession might result in him blowing the entire budget on iPads for the committee. Moonlights as a character on Geordie Shore.
Social Secretary - Mark Alexander Shimmings
Previous treasurer and 3rd XI vice-captain. This year Shimmings will be responsible for keeping the club entertained and ensuring that the banter (and snakebite) keeps flowing.
Alumni Secretary – Kaanthan Jawahar
Previous treasurer, 2nd XI captain and club captain. Having been at GKT since it was formed, Karny’s clearly the most qualified person for this role. Having already intercalated twice, who knows what else he will do to further prolong his stay at GKT.
Fixtures Secretary – Jason Gupta
Previous Webmaster. Guptings became fixtures secretary thinking it would be an easy job. Quickly realised that it wasn’t.
Informations Secretary – Saarth Shiralkar
Previous treasurer and captain of the least successful 3rd XI in recent GKT history (probably). In his spare time, Saarth enjoys dressing up as a fairy.
