The Medical Society, or MedSoc, is responsible for the social life and welfare of all medical students at Guy’s Kings and St Thomas’s Medical School.
MedSoc was founded in 2002 to replace the GKT Students Union, which had amalgamated with KCLSU. Therefore, part of MedSoc’s role is to represent and support the interests of those studying at Guy’s, and prevent repression of our lifestyles and traditions by the powers that be. As a society of KCLSU, MedSoc has access to all Union and College facilities and resources, allowing us to provide the utmost standard of support for all those who study at GKT.
MedSoc unites and organises students, allowing them to share ideas, talents and resources, thus building a strong community to make the extent of your time here the best it can be.
